Nothing brings me more joy than discovering new music. Finding an artist I'm really digging is seriously like a religious experience for me. One thing I'm really proud of about myself is that I have a diverse and eclectic music taste. Similar to food, I'm willing to try anything at least once. My iTunes has EVERY genre of music on it--including Country {I hate on people's Facebook when they say they like all music except country---you don't like ALL music}.
Anywho, I was watching this past week's Private Practice and at the end of the episode they played this really beautiful song. I went to ABC.com and saw the song was called "Misdirection" by Sanders Bohlke. Sanders has a MyspaceMusic page here. That's where I found a bunch of his other music...and I swear it was like love at first listen. This is perfect contemplative or study music. I'll definitely have to download some stuff to the iPod. Love. Love. Love. A lot of the songs I wanted to put into the post weren't available on YouTube or Vimeo so definitely check out the MySpaceMusic page for some free listening.

Spring Break
Confession: I've never taken a Spring Break trip. Never rounded up the girls and went to Miami...or Panama...or [insert SB destination here]. I typically spend Spring Break with my family...because yes, I'm that girl. This year is no different. The first weekend of Spring Break I'm going to Kentucky to meet up with my parents and my Granny at this conference my Dad sits on the board of. Doesn't sound much fun, I know, but it actually is. I lived in Kentucky from infancy-4 and then again from 6-10. So majority of the people I'll be seeing have known me since I was a baby. Its basically just an excuse to catch up with old friends, and I'm excited about seeing the parentals. I haven't seen them since Christmas.
After Kentucky, I'll be back in Tuscaloosa doing the law school thing. I'm just SO behind on my entire semester. I've only started ONE outline (which is bad at this point) and my brief is due March 30. Yeah. I need to get my life together, so I'll be doing that this Spring Break.
But I have to have some fun this break, so I've decided I'm going to treat myself to dinner(s) and movie(s)--two of my favorite pasttimes, LOL. Here are two films I'm really looking forward to seeing next week:

California Dreamin'
If you were anything like me growing up, you were obsessed with Fox Kids on Saturday mornings and TNBC Saturday mid-morning. I looooved TNBC and I used to watch ALL the shows. Of course there was Saved By the Bell, Hang Time, and one of my favorites, California Dreams. Granted, California Dreams was clearly a SBtB rip-off except they were in a band and played cheesy 90s pop. {Love it}. Recently Jimmy Fallon convinced the cast of California Dreams to reunite on the Late Show and they were gracious enough to perform the theme song to the show. I definitely just had a flashback to age 10.
