Elle's Music Issue

Elle Magazine published its annual music issue which featured a cover story on No Doubt's Gwen Stefani and little featurettes on some of my favorite female artists. Adele easily has my second favorite album of the year thus far (behind Kanye's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy). I have always admired how she not only bares her soul in her lyrics but I swear her voice drips with every emotion she's every felt--and that to me is fearless.  This year I discovered Robyn thanks to KFM. She's pure perfect pop, which just makes me smile. Little Willow Smith is exactly who I wish I had been at her age: bold, confident, and positive. Hell, she's exactly who I'm working to be NOW.
