Today I Feel...

Such a beautiful, honest song. Feeling a little out of sorts lately. Not even on the "love" tip (for once, I am not concerned with my romantic life in the slightest)...just a lot has changed in a little bit of time. I'm adjusting to the newness of it all. It's unsettling when what you thought you knew suddenly isn't so. But I'm coming to understand and accept there's beauty even in times of fear and uncertainty. I don't know why, but I guess I thought by 25 I would have magically finished this "growing up" thing. I just pray that as I continue growing, I do so with a bit more grace in my old(er) age.

SN: Have I mentioned that Jill Scott is one of my personal heroes. Never seen someone more comfortable in their own skin and with who they are. She exudes confidence...LOVE HER!

How I'm Feeling

After yesterday's Yahoo!/relationship rant I'm feeling the love today. I've been listening to an oldie but goodie by one of my favorite artists, Jill Scott. If I could be anyone but me, I swear I'd be Jill Scott. I don't think there's a more beautiful person on the planet. She just radiates love, beauty, and confidence. And she's definitely one of my role models.

This song is called "He Loves Me" and I think its the sexiest and most beautiful song...and this is where my head has been today..hmmm...
